Together with Luleå University of Technology, the Swedish Armed Forces, Telia and several other actors, Cyloq is developing new solutions for secure and robust communication in environments where ordinary networks are not enough.

The project, funded by Vinnova in the framework of Advanced Digitalisation, focuses on developing and piloting carrier-agnostic overlay networks — solutions that enable secure, interoperable and resilient communications regardless of whether the connection is via WiFi, 4G/5G or satellite.

The project addresses several key cybersecurity challenges:

• Post-quantum-proof protection

• Sensitive Traffic Encryption

• Automated Vulnerability Scanning

• Practical testing in real-world scenarios, such as military exercises and mountain rescue operations

Cyloq contributes expertise in cybersecurity and vulnerability testing in critical environments.

What makes an ethical hacker with years of terminal code behind him leave his keyboard and step into a podcast studio? On August 23, 2024, our co-founder Sam Eizad sat down with host Jorge Castro in the podcast The Growth Hackers for a three-quarter conversation about the Achilles heels of e-commerce and how they can be strengthened before someone unauthorized gets there.

Sam has more than fifteen years of offensive security experience and a string of bug-bounty successes at Google, Microsoft and Apple, among others, on the track record. In the podcast, he tells how attackers map a store, what kind of misconfigurations attract the most and why “it's all about finding weak points in the systems,” as he puts it.

The conversation moves from technology to people. Layer-on-layer protection and regular penetration tests are the foundation, but Sam stresses that without conscious employees, the firewall is the most backdrop. That's why Cyloq builds not only tests but also tailor-made awareness programs that make safety a habit in everyday life.
